TRAINING

Reed Consultancies provides training in business planning, fund raising and the strategic and operational management of Third Sector organisations. We also provide for Trustees and Directors specific to their responsibilities and duties in the governance of Third Sector organisations.

CAPACITY BUILDING

We have considerable experience in working with smaller, black and minority ethnic organisations enabling local people in marginalized communities to develop projects, which respond to local needs. Feasibility Studies, business planning and training are some of the methods used in capacity building.

FUNDING from EUROPE

Reed Consultancies has considerable experience of enabling organisations to understand and to access funding from a wide variety of sources. This includes the European Commission's Structural Funds i.e. the European Social Fund and the European Regional Development Fund and also the Community Initiatives and Trans National Funds. We also know a good deal about acquiring funds from Single Regeneration Budgets, Neighbourhood Renewal Funds and Grant Making Trusts.

FEASIBILITY STUDIES

We have considerable experience of carrying out feasibility studies with newly forming Third Sector Organisations enabling them to test out the reality of developing an organisation or setting up a project. We also specialise in work with large organisations enabling them to consider whether to make strategic changes, to consider the continuation of established projects or to enable them to develop new concepts or new work.

COHESION

Reed Consultancies are keen to play a part in building a cohesive society. We have considerable experience in working with Faith Communities and in cross-cultural settings. We are keen to be involved in the implementation of the HM Treasury 'Cross Cutting Review of the Voluntary and Community Sector' and of the Government 'Compact with the Voluntary and Community Sector'.
