Q What kind of training do you provide?
A Reed Consultancies will set up and deliver training as three to five day intensive courses for groups of voluntary organisations and will provide 'in house training' for senior staff and Directors as a 'one off' or six month 'on going basis'

Q Do you carry out market research?
A Yes, and in addition to carrying this out personally Ann Reed recruits and trains teams of researchers to carry out large projects or to conduct research in culturally sensitive ways for example in community languages

Q Do you write Business Plans?
A Reed Consultancies will work with organisations to prepare a Business Plan. We prefer to work with the senior staff of an organisation rather than writing a Plan for them, though we will happily do this if required. By working with the staff of an organisation we are able to transfer skills to the organisation so the Business Plan can be kept up to date and importantly kept in use as a management tool.

Q Do you raise funds for voluntary and community groups?
A Yes, Reed Consultancies will prepare a fundraising strategy and help in recruiting an Appeal Committee and we will train volunteer and other workers. Reed Consultancies will carry out the necessary research and will complete application forms. We prefer to work alongside the staff and Trustees of organisations to encourage and enable rather than taking over responsibility for the whole appeal, though we are willing to do this if necessary

Q What do you know about funding from Europe?
A Reed Consultancies specialises in funding from Europe for the voluntary and community sector European Social Fund, European Regional Development Fund and we are familiar with the transnational funds such as URBAN, EQUAL and LEADER+. Reed Consultancies provides training in accessing funding from Europe and will act as consultants to bid writers and will prepare applications for funding.
